Monitoring results 2022
The 2022 monitoring on open science and research has been completed with excellent results. The level of openness of the majority of the universities and universities of applied sciences was evaluated as excellent or outstanding. Four out of ten research institutions reached outstanding level. The majority of the universities and universities of applied sciences reached the two topmost levels of openness.
DIAMAS
The Federation of Finnish Learned Societies (TSV) takes part in the DIAMAS consortium that aims to develop diamond open access publishing in Europe. The project has received a three-year funding from the European Union and it was launched in September 2022. The consortium gathers together 23 organisations from 12 European countries.
Open Science and Research Awards
Every year, The National Open Science and Research Coordination rewards open science practices.
The National Open Science Award is awarded to an individual or a research group, who or which has in their research and/or teaching work brought positive publicity to open science and/or advanced the culture of open scholarship or other open science practices.

Policy for Open Scholarship
The Policy for Open scholarship brings together the previous policies and recommendations made within the framework of the Open science and research coordination. The policy focuses on the culture of open scholarship of an organisation. In addition, previous policies will be supplemented with perspectives related to services, incentives, and interaction.
