It is important that Finnish stakeholders follow how EOSC continues to develop under Horizon Europe framework programme. This way they can better understand and influence the research priorities in the area, bring the Finnish expertise to the European context and bring back to the country the most suitable opportunities and services coming out from EOSC to foster innovation and boost the societal impact of Finnish high-quality research.
European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) is one of the new partnerships supported by the European Commission and the Member States. It aims to realise a web of FAIR data and related services and provides a virtual environment with access to various services supporting open science and the management of the research data lifecycle, from sharing to processing and preserving data. The objective of EOSC is to give the European Union a global lead in research data management and ensure that European scientists reap the full benefits of data-driven science.

National policy on Open education and educational resources elaborates the objective defined in the Declaration for open science and research that creating, using and joint development of open educational resources and other open educational practices are part of daily work in higher education and enable continuous learning.
